We drove north from Massachusetts to the Lakes Region (Rocky Ledge Shores Condominiums in Laconia, NH) where 6 teams of four condo association players were ready to "rock and roll." Photos by Dr. Joseph Kalil.

We set up two Backyard Bocce courts on the lawn right in front of the condos facing Lake Winnipesaukee. Click the photo for more info on the temporary courts.

We lugged a couple sets of bocce balls and two scoreboards too. We placed the six teams into two pools of three and they each played the other two teams in their pool.

The Lake's looking good in the background. That's a Peter Rabito scoreboard - perfect for this day as we pounded it into the ground so the wind couldn't blow it down.

After the pool play we take a break for food and libations. Then we give the top two seeds byes, while 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5. Then top seed plays lower remaining seed and 2 seed plays higher remaining seed.
