Riverview, Michigan Bocce

Photos courtesy of Todd Dickman who says "Here are some photos of play in the City of Riverview, Michigan under the Recreation Department. The courts were constructed in 2003 by the city's Department of Public Works."

The courts are in the public domain (right at City Hall), are 76' by 10' and are surfaced with Har-Tru.

The courts are used by men, women, kids - courts in the public domain help the game grow. Note the extra height at the ends of the courts are also good for sitting - nice gazebo in the background.

Looks like a great place to play!

Looks like they play games to 16 points.

The Recreation Department maintains the courts and they designed and built the scoreboards. Looks like they have a heavy roller and a 7-foot drag brush.

Nicely groomed courts, benches for spectators, umbrellas for shade...and you're right at the seat of city government in case you ever need to go fight city hall!
