Says Danner..."...new bocce courts at the Griffin Country Club (October 27, 2007)...lights coming next month. As far as we know, no other county club in Georgia has bocce courts."

"Octoberfest Tournament results: Champions...George Danner, Shane Smith, Dr. Terry Wynne and Lance Taylor. Lance built the courts. Dr. Wynne got the CC interested in building courts."
