The six courts measure 12' by 60' and are covered with Astroturf.

Lodge member Mike Longo says the subsurface is crushed rock.

Looks like the overhangs provide some shade for the players during certain times of the day.

Longo says that every couple of years they take up the carpet, roll and compact the subsurface, and lay the carpet back down.

Brick work looks great!

George Farruggio, who forwarded the photos, has this to say. "You talk about bocce courts, take a look at these. Maintenance required = 0%. Water problem = 0%. All you do on these courts is play BOCCE."
