Boston University School of Management Bocce Blast
|
The BU School of Management picked a great summer day to have their outing. A group of enthusiastic twenty-somethings competed with intensity, good humor, and a healthy dose of style! |
One thing I really like about the North End's Langone Park is the stone embankments surrounding the three courts. They entice you to come sit down and watch - when we have the chance, we then further entice the spectators to participate. |
After a brief bocce "primer" by yours truly, the participants "get after it" in a doubles tournament. |
It was a young, co-ed group with more women than men. |
This talented young man was a study in concentration. |
There was no shortage of bocce talent on this great day in Boston's North End. |
Of course the guy with the "Hollywood" look would be the leader of the BU pack. |
Sometimes we use a timepiece to keep things on schedule. |
The "young pups" (winners and runners-up) flanked by the "old buck" referees. Contact Mario@JoyofBocce.com to set up your corporate outing/party. Here's what one of this event's attendees had to say...
"Bocce is a blast and a great way to spend a summer day! I played it for the first time last week and loved the competitive, yet fun nature of the game. It's a great sport for people of all ages and skill levels and is a wonderful team bonding activity."
