 The task ahead...
Says Greg... "Used a string level and a laser level it (court) is 60' x 12', constructed a screed, used a tiller, shovel, rake, tamper, and a poly roller really was not necessary. Mixed with lime, gypsum, and sand before over planting with fescue grass. Took me about 6 weeks to build, mainly on the weekends Fall '09." |
"Planted fescue grass because of the excessive shade and it handles traffic real well, cut it with an old time reel mower very short. My family spends a lot of weekend afternoons out there and it's great when relatives and friends want to be outside. Very low maintenance, watering in the hot dry months, drains well. It plays more level with traffic and time." |
"When the grass gets full, I'll send you another picture if you would like. Thanks for the inquiry. It was fun to build and materials were under $500." | | | | | | |
